It is often usage in high power CO2 laser systems due to its low absorption coefficient and high resistance to thermal shock. ZnSe windows can enable easier adjustment (alignment) of the optical axis of infrared laser systems and enable use of more convenient and cheaper He-Ne lasers. Zinc Selenide material is a relatively soft material that scratches easily, thereby it is not recommended for use in harsh environments. We can offer Non-coated and AR coated products for CO2 lasers.
