Wollaston棱鏡
The Wollaston prism splits an incoming unpolarized beam into two deviated beams of mutually orthogonal polarizations. Both deviated transmitted beams are nearly symmetrical about the incident direction of the entering beam. The angular separation is wavelength dependent and prisms having an angular separation of 5, 10, 15 and 20 degrees are available as standard items. Cemented Wollaston polarizer is standard and is suitable for low power application. Air spaced Wollaston prisms for Ultraviolet applications are available by special order.
