格蘭-湯普森棱鏡
Our Glan Thompson Polarizers are utilized in design of low-power applications, are usually used where large field of view and high extinction ratio are important. Their wider field angle allows the designer to increase prism throughput in an optical system. They are made from the highest grade calcite and cemented together using a UV epoxy. The optic axis is parallel to the entrance window and prism angle thereby providing a larger field of view than Glan Laser / Taylor designs. The ordinary ray is the output ray and the extraordinary ray is absorbed on the escape window. For enhanced UV transmission, we offer optically contacted Glan Thompson polarizers.
